Staff
The Graduate and Professional Student Senate employs eight student staff members in order to assist in carrying out their mission:
Chief of Staff/Event Planner - Elizabeth Williams
Liz is a first year grad at the Evans School, and hopes she makes it through the next year and a half in one piece. Should she make it through the gauntlet of academia, she hopes to save some lives and generally make the world a better place. On her free time, she enjoys petting puppies, and pretending she's on the USS Enterprise with her "crew mates."
Executive Assistant - Douglas McManaway
Doug is in his fourth year of undergraduate studies at the UW, majoring in the Law, Societies and Justice Program with a focus on comparative legal institutions and politics. He hopes to attend law school and work in public interest law afterwards, but he tries not to be too specific on career goals at this stage in the game. In his spare time, Doug enjoys watching Husky sports, volunteering, traveling, and a well-made cup of organic, fair trade coffee.
